The APM/WIN version of the Auto Parts Merchant is a Microsoft FoxPro 2.6 based program for WIndows. The system support multiple Sales Screens using Networked Windows Personal Computers. The business database is shared by the Sales Screens from a single Personal Conputer acting as a server on the peer-to-peer Windows 95/98 built-in network
The program uses Graphic screens with mouse capability; however, the system is designed for fast keyboard only operation as well. Quick Sale capability is provided with a minimum of keystrokes to sell and print an invoice for a part in stock.
Point of Sale features a stored list of items for the sale which saves items requested by a customer in a phone order. The saved customer order can be invoiced as soon as the parts are available for delivery.
Orders are created automatically based upon specified order points. Shipments received are added to inventory after the order is checked. Pricing levels can be automatically adjusted to desired profit levels and price updates can be loaded from warehouse files or Price Load Services.
Accounts Receivable tracks credit sales with balance forward type Statements. Month end process with finance charge calculations is fast and reversible for last minute corrections.
Management reporting is user programable to automatically print desired end-of-day and end-of-month reports.
